Water Post
World Water Day
March 22nd, 2022
Thanks Bea for this beautiful mural
Here at IES Virgen Del Puerto our students care for the planet and on World Water Day we learned about water preservation and its importance for our planet.
Students from 1st and 3rd of ESOS in the bilingual biology class got to discussing about why we need to preserve more water. They learned about ways that we can use less water, or use it more efficiently, on our everyday lives.
Now they are more conscious about the water issues that are going on around the world and they understand that not everyone has equal access to it. They also understand that water is a vital need for us and for the planet, and that we need to be aware of how we can make changes to alleviate climate change and global warming.
They also had a lot of fun while learning about world water day. Some of them got creative with the water cycle, while others got to draw and paint their ideas about water waste into drops made out of paper. They came out so amazing that we got to display some of them in our bilingual section mural, it looks great!
Good job, everyone!
